Ulf Brömster is joining Opticos as a senior associate and will play a hands-on role in strengthening Opticos advisory capabilities in the areas of IT Management and Strategic Sourcing.

Ulf Brömster has held executive positions in the Swedish defence industry as well as at Ericsson. Ulf is recognised for his strategic approach, specifically in high-tech delivery environments. His recent stints include product, project, IT, and sourcing management positions. Ulf holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics at KTH as well as Business Administration and Economics at Stockholm University.

Opticos Launches the Chief Data Officer (CDO) Network

With the ever-increasing role of Data in the context of unlocking business value, the role of the Chief Data Officer (CDO) has achieved strategic significance.

We are delighted to launch the Opticos CDO network in an effort to engage with executives, showcase best practices, and foster interactions in the area of Data strategy, management and governance.

The Opticos CDO network has already had two network meetings. The representation is very satisfying, and we have participants across various domains such as banking, transportation, security, manufacturing, and insurance. The participants are willing to contribute, and they appreciate the possibility of networking and knowledge exchange”, says Madeleine Tornard, project leader of the CDO network at Opticos.

For example, some of the topics in focus at the CDO network sessions relate to how companies’ Data Management will be affected by the new EU directives, namely:

Another interesting area which was discussed include “Data Governance – how do we work within our organizations?” This topic witnessed active participation by the attendees.

Opticos is pleased to announce the creation of a new role within the company – Executive Management Aide (EMA). The role, created to support Opticos accelerated growth, will work exclusively for Opticos CEO and COO to strengthen strategic management and analysis support for executive decisions.

“We are happy to announce that Linnea Håkansson will take on this exciting new role. Linnea has a proven track record of driving results and delivering outstanding customer experiences, making her the perfect fit for this new role,” said Fredrik Hallberg, CEO and co-founder of Opticos.

“Every year, the EMA role will provide high-potential younger colleagues with a unique insight into the management and development of a fast-growing management consulting firm”, Fredrik concludes.

Linnea Håkansson joined Opticos and the Young Professionals Program (YPP) in 2020. Her history in Opticos includes Programme and Change Management and Sourcing assignments. Linnea holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lund University. The EMA position will be held on a rolling 12 month schedule.
