Client Challenge

Our client, a global manufacturing company, was facing a significant strategic shift that required substantial changes in some parts of their operations. Including the establishment of new organizations, processes, systems, and sites.

In such a strategic transformation, the path from start to finish is highly uncertain, requiring continuous learning and effective collaboration methods with other business units and parts of the program and operations.

Assignment

As an integrated part of the company, we have been actively involved in shaping and building processes and implementing new systems and tools in the factory.

Our delivery teams operated in a mixed environment, utilizing both agile and traditional waterfall leadership models. We encompassed a wide range of roles, including business architects, analysts, project managers, and change managers, all contributing to driving and implementing changes within the organization.

New processes and systems, including a new generation of MES, PLM and ERP systems, were designed, developed and implemented across various parts of the organization and are now in production. Close collaboration with the client ensured that the systems were tailored to their specific needs and conditions.

Additionally, we prepared the organization for change and assisted in establishing new factories and systems as part of their strategic shift.

Business Outcomes

  • The client has received new, fit-for-purpose IT systems that have been put into operation and are scalable for future expansion.
  • The first implementations have taken place and are in operation. The work continues to roll out these systems on a larger scale. The client has gained insight into what the future will look like and is now better prepared to meet upcoming situations.
  • We have contributed to creating an integrated part of the organization that is sustainable and that continues to develop and improve over time.
  • Our close collaboration with the client has strengthened their line organization with selfsufficient individuals who can continue to drive change and improvements.
